1. Service description
The BasketTournament application is a technical platform allowing basketball tournament organisers to manage the logistics of their events (teams, scores, players, standings).
2. Content liability (Host status)
In accordance with French digital trust law (LCEN), the application publisher acts as a host for data entered by users (organisers).
The user who creates a tournament is solely responsible for the content they enter (tournament names, team names, player names, surnames and physical characteristics).
It is strictly forbidden to enter content that is offensive, racist, homophobic, violent, or that undermines human dignity. The organiser agrees to comply with applicable laws in France and Europe.
3. Moderation and Reporting
The publisher does not carry out generalised monitoring of entered content. However, in the event of a report of manifestly unlawful content, the publisher reserves the right to:
- Immediately remove the disputed content.
- Suspend or close the responsible organiser's account without notice. To report abuse, contact the administrator at: basket.tournaments@hotmail.com
4. Personal data protection (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
Data collected (first name, last name, height) is used exclusively for the sporting management of the tournament.
Data is hosted within the European Union (France Central region).
By entering third-party data (players), the organiser certifies having obtained their prior consent for the processing of this information within the application.
Any person whose data is processed has the right of access, rectification and deletion, exercisable with the tournament organiser or the application publisher.
